چکیده

We labeled surface glycoproteins of norby polyacrylamide slab gel electrophoresis. mal human blood platelets, granulocytes, All major types of human leukocytes monocytes, T and B lymphocytes, and null showed different and characteristic surcells by the galactose oxidase-NaB3H4 face glycoprotein patterns. These patterns and periodate-NaB3H4 labeling techevidently also include common comniques. The labeled glycoproteins were ponents. observed by fluorography after separation

The effect of recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEpo) on blood cells of adult and immature rats

Human recombinant erythropoietin is a synthetic hormone for treatment of some kinds of anemia. In this study, the effect of this hormone was investigated on blood cell changes in adult and immature rats. For this purpose, the hormone was administered at doses of 50, 100, and 200 IU/Kg (s.c.) twice a week for a period of 6 weeks. Then, the number of red blood cells (RBC), subtypes of white blood...

PADGEM protein in human erythroleukemia cells.

PADGEM protein, a platelet alpha granule membrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 140,000, is translocated to the plasma membrane during granule secretion and platelet activation. PADGEM protein is expressed on the surface of activated platelets but not on the surface of resting platelets. Human erythroleukemia (HEL) cells contain platelet alpha granule-like organelles, alpha granule pr...

Effects of Gnidilatimonoein, from Daphne mucronata, on the plasma membrane glycoproteins in two cancerous cell lines

Metastasis describes the ability of a tumor to invade normal tissue and generate secondary tumors at sites distant from the primary tumor. The mechanism responsible for the inhibition of tumor metastasis by different agents is at least partly associated with the ability to interfere with cellular functions such as adhesiveness, motility and invasiveness. Certainly effective treatment of metasta...

I-5: Molcular and Cellular Interactions in UterineReceptivity for Implantation

Background: Though plausible candidate adhesion systems have been identified, current knowledge of embryo-maternal attachment in human is limited by the inability to conduct well-controlled functional investigations. We have sought a viable medium-throughput model for the identification and functional assessment of molecular markers in the initial epithelial phases of implantation. An ideal mod...
